ZBRUSH
Scimitar
This scimitar was created as a study in elegant form, ornamental detail, and realistic material definition. Sculpted in ZBrush for iPad, textured in Adobe Substance 3D Painter, and rendered in Cinema 4D with Redshift, the piece places particular emphasis on the layered leather wrapping and the contrast between aged metal and handcrafted surfaces.

Scimitar
This scimitar study began as an exploration of silhouette, proportion, and ornamental weapon design in ZBrush for iPad. Particular attention was given to the wrapped leather handle, where I developed the overlapping straps, tension, thickness, and subtle surface variation to create a convincing handcrafted construction.
The model was textured in Adobe Substance 3D Painter, combining worn metal, engraved details, aged leather, and controlled edge wear to give the weapon a sense of history and use. The final asset was staged in Cinema 4D and rendered with Redshift using an ACES color-managed workflow, with lighting designed to emphasize the curved blade, material contrast, and fine sculpted detail.
